The Children
Boys come into the Home for various reasons. Some are entirely orphaned; some have lost one parent; some still have both parents, but they are too poor or ill to look after their child. In some cases, there is no state school in their village; and private schooling is far too expensive to be considered.
Poor children may be forced to work for scraps of food, and very young ones may sometimes have to scavenge on the garbage heaps for something to eat.
Lifegivers Home gives its boys food and clothing, as well as funds permit, in a loving environment with sound Christian teaching. They go to the local state schools, although the Home has to find money for schoolbooks and other materials.
When boys reach the age of fifteen or so, they have to move on to looking after themselves, and earning a living or continuing their education.
Biographies
