Lifegivers Home
Lifegivers Home is a Christian orphanage in Andhra Pradesh state, India. It is a registered charity in India.
Lifegivers looks after about 40 boys aged from around 5 up to 15, who are there either because they have lost their parents, or because their parents cannot provide for them. They are poor people looking after those who are even poorer, and they are in need of day to day support simply to have food, clothing and other basic necessities.
India has no social security.
Lifegivers Trust
Lifegivers Trust (UK) is a UK registered charity (a charitable incorporated organisation) which has been set up to raise funds for the Lifegivers Home and potentially for other similar bodies, if funds allow.
Lifegivers Home is authorised by the Indian government to receive funds from abroad.
I (Oliver) and my wife have been supporting the Home for several years, but we don't have the resources to give all they need, even with other people who also support Lifegivers, and life for the orphans is precarious; they are often on the verge of running out of food, and have needed blankets in the winter. Therefore we have set up this charity to enable more people to help and also to benefit from Gift Aid.
